22 a/r, mm/ejo, quotes
I couldn't resist! That quote is just too adorable.

I am looking for a couple moderators to help me out at maryandeddie. I wanted to create a place where MM and EJO material could be shared without being off-topic, hope that's alright with everyone. :D

I'm new here.......talk to me!
This looked pretty interesting.......I see no mention of "THE BOBS". I was introduced to these guys a couple of years ago and they rock. I've never seen them in concert, but watched a couple of videos and have some of their CD's. Four of us in my choral group sang "A Cappella Choir in the Sky" in one of our shows and it brought the house down. Just a lot of fun, musically and lyrically. If you've heard of The Bobs, let me hear from YOU!

Vocal Percussionist

I am a vocal percussionist who has been practicing the art for a little over a year. Influences come from beatboxers such as Rahzel, Kenny Muhammed, Killa Kela, and many others. My style is most oriented towards hip hop, however I am able to adapt to most any style, be it acappella to drum and bass. Here is a short clip I recently recorded, tell me what you think.

Ok it's hard to believe that this group has so few members...
Acapella truly just rocks. Straight up. I offically own like a million acapella cds. I own like all of m-pact's stuff, some of rockapella, university of illinois' xtension chords, the greenleafs, the limestones, beartones, etc. etc. and they all rock. HAHA.

Check it out...

Shamelessly plugging a singer's Bulletin Board!
Last week the London Choral Studio started up a Bulletin Board on it's website. As well as a means of communicating with the choir (rehearsal info etc) there are also a number of public forums for general music interest. It's mostly aimed at choral music, but not restricted just to that.

I want you all to

1. Register and use the boards. The more traffic there is on the board and the better the "community" becomes. Over time I hope it develops a broad base readership and becomes somewhere you can discuss singnig.

2. Spread the word on your friends journals and get them to sign up and use it. Many of you on my friends list have sniging as noe of your interests, and a few of you are members of choirs of various types and styles. Some of you even like "opera" (whatever that's all about?), and yes, there's even a warm welcome to you too!

Let me know in reply when you have registered so I can stop hassling you!

The URL is: www.londonchoralstudio.com/bb
